01/12/2020 Covid19 travel update  (KENYA)

Everyone will need a PCR test before departure from the UK which you need to take within 92 hours of your departure date/time, this will be of a private teat not a NHS test, at this point of time 08/12/2020 only Heathrow and Edinburgh airport are providing theses test (this is not the rapid test) you must make sure you print this test and bring it with you to the airport (make copies) also make sure its signed by the medical doctor at the test lab price £90, you can also find your local walk in private centre or you can do it on line please make sure you work out the hours before departure time best to add on your flight time as well,

Travellers arriving from the UK are not required to enter mandatory quarantine for 14 days, as long as they have a negative COVID-19 test. The negative COVID-19 test must be a negative PCR test result. Travellers with a negative rapid test result will still need to enter mandatory or voluntary quarantine for 14 days, depending on the Kenyan authorities’ assessment on the traveller’s ability to quarantine.

You will be ask to complete an online covid test form, you will be required to do this on whatever airline companies website you travel with,

you must have a mobile phone, a barcode will be sent to you for downloading,  the kenya authorities can scan it which will hold all your travel and flight seating arrangements this is in case someone seating near you on the plane has tested positive on arrival they then can contact people that was seated near that person,

As from 1st Jan all visas will need to be done online you will not be able to obtain one on arrival,

All persons traveling with me plus flights.

Near the time i will help and advice when to get test, i will also give you a flight reference to your travel ticket and here you will be able to log in and complete the appropriate covid forms, i will also send you a link to Kenya's entry online form this is not your visa but a form that will electrically create your barcode which you must download,

Please make sure your travel insurance states that you are covid19 covered,

Even if you have had the covid vaccine there will be no proof of this so a PCR test will be required,

Im happy to help anyone thats not sure and point them in to the right direction,

Coronavirus (COVID-19) terms and conditions update, i have taken the decision that from the 14th July 2020 all deposits paid will be non-refundable this includes any deposits carried over from 19/03/2020

This is in line with most 3rd party companies and insurance policies not refunding any deposits paid which includes COVID-19 involvements.

If a 3rd party, location, workshop, center, organized advent tours  was cancelled due to COVID-19, you would be offered an alternative date. this does not included any Africa tours.

Africa tours, most trips will be re-dated and monies carried over, with each Africa safari trip  booked clients will be contacted with examples of the options available, please check regularly with your insurance provider for any changes to your travel policy

19th March 2020 coronavirus (COVID-19) All clients that cancelled their workshop after the 20th March 2020 would be entitled to a full refund of monies paid, if any clients decided to re-book there workshops to a later date after the 20th March would lose their deposit, if any clients wants to cancel once the option was taken to re-book, this would come under the normal T/C ,

A non-refundable deposit is required on all the workshops, the deposit will hold your workshop place and confirm your booking; confirmation of booking will be via Email All payments can be made by cheque or bank to bank transfer, payments made by cheque will be confirmed when cheque arrives and then 7-10 days after clearing and that all payments made by cheque must have cleared by or before payment date is due.

The full payment or balance will be due 4 weeks before your workshop date or where a date has been given, if for any reason you cancel your workshop 2 weeks before your workshop date and full payment has been made full payment will be refunded but you will lose the deposit, if you cancel after 2 weeks before workshop date only 50% will be refunded if your place cannot be filled, you will lose your deposit either way, if you cancel one week before workshop date or you do not turn up on the workshop then no refund will be given.

All refunds excludes all deposits paid on all workshops unless stated,

If for any reason you do not pay the full amount 4 week before workshop date a reminder will be sent via Email or phone text, if still no reply then Dean Bricknell has the right to cancel your workshop with no refund offered or rebooking,

if no contact can be made after 1 year of booking on redacted workshops, or 1 year after your booked workshop date then all monies that have been paid will be lost and no refund or workshop will be offered.

If for some unforeseen circumstances that Dean Bricknell cancels the workshop a full refund of monies paid will be given, on most workshops an alternative date or workshop will be offered,

Easy payment terms

On most workshops i will accept monthly payments after the deposit has been paid this must be arranged and agreed by both parties before any bookings or any deposits are made and confirmed by email.

Cancellation notice given:

• more than 1 year before departure date deposit only  +  flights (admin charges will apply)

• 5 months or less than 5 months 100% of full price + flights no refund will be offered

• The above is designed and laid out due to group booking, any cancelation will affect every      other person and would result in a complete cancelation of the trip and rebooked which will    increases the price of the trip as a new booking.

If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges. If we change or cancel your holiday It is unlikely we will have to change or cancel your booking after it has been confirmed. However, as arrangements are often made many months in advance and i have no direct control over some of the products i feature, i reserve the right to change or cancel your booking or a component of your booking at any time.

Most changes are minor and i will advise you of these as soon as possible. Minor changes include a change of accommodation to another of the same standard, changes to carriers, aircraft types or alterations to flight times by less than 12 hours. Major changes include a change of accommodation to a lower standard or to a different resort than booked or cancellation of a tour by our supplier because of insufficient numbers or any other reason.

In the most unlikely circumstance that the trip is cancelled completely a full refund will be given this does not include your flights you will have to claim the cost of your flights back from your own travel insurance if covered.
